STEYLER
About the mission of the SVD Congregation in Steyl
Steyler is an exhibition of the life and work of the missionaries of the congregation Societas Verbi Divini (SVD) in Steyl. The aim of the project is to show the heart, origin and background of the members of Steyl. The project shows how Brothers, priests and friends worked formerly and how they work today. The perspectives emerging from this showthe changed mission. This multimedial exhibtion takes place within the story of 150 years SVD and the added, connected exhibtion of 150 years of the Monastic Village of Steyl. It is a joint project of Krien Clevis and the SVD congregation in Steyl.
Together with the Mission Museum where the exhition HOLLYWOOD OP FLORES can be seen, six lectures have been organised to explain more about the topic. Location: Benedenkerk Missiehuis St. Michaël, St. Michaelstraat 7 5935 BL Steyl. On these three days the film My mission is greater than I am will be shown in the "Apostelzaal" of the Mission House.
